Our Story

Like many people, we at Ever Care were personally affected by the lack of mental health providers for seniors when we placed one of our own family in assisted living. They quickly developed depression, stopped eating, and soon passed away. This experience made us wonder how often this sort of outcome happened in long term care. When we saw first hand the lack of mental health support, we set out to be a part of the solution. At Ever Care, we believe that specialized mental healthcare is just as important as specialized medical care for our seniors. Through our partnerships, the last years of our patients can be some of the best.

Our Approach

We believe in integrating care. This means, that specialists work within a care team with primary care providers. To do this, we emphasize coordinating care and working with other staff members to educate them on mental health and helping patient’s who have mental health issues.

We take a holistic approach to provide mental health treatment, this may involve medication as well as non-pharmacological treatments such as counseling, diet, and exercise. Through our partnerships, we are able to develop a personalized plan to improve our seniors outcomes both for their mental and physical health.
